Powernet is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of Cincinnati’s Top 100 Workplaces. The Top Workplaces are determined based on employee feedback through a survey conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement.
Powernet’s selection comes on the heels of major benefits changes announced by the company at the end of 2014. Included in those changes were an increase in paid vacation time to a minimum of five weeks for all employees and an annual $450 “wellness” credit for each employee to be spent on gym memberships, exercise equipment or other health-related products and services.
Powernet also created a new position, Manager of Employee Experience, to help increase engagement and morale within the organization through initiatives such as employee-led committees, walking groups and other internal events.
“We’ve always offered flexible hours and charitable paid time off for volunteer work,” Powernet CEO Alli Stevens commented, “but we wanted to do more to make this a truly special place to work. When you combine all of these benefits and corporate culture initiatives with the caliber of people we have working here, you’re building an environment primed for success.”
WorkplaceDynamics conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with 45 major publishing partners across the United States. The Cincinnati Enquirer published the complete list of Top Workplaces June 14.
